Susan Cromwell is a physical therapist at the University of Vermont Medical Center. She specializes in neurologic rehabilitation. Susan treats patients with conditions such as movement disorders, Parkinson’s disease, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, concussion, vestibular disorders which are caused by the inner ear and can affect balance and/or vision, and stroke. She also specializes in falls/balance and geriatrics.
Susan has a BS and MS degree in physical therapy. She is also certified as a Neurologic Clinical Specialist by the American Physical Therapy Association. Her specialty and area of expertise is in treating people with vestibular disorders.
Susan strives to clearly identify the reasons that an individual seeks physical therapy and provide the most up to date and appropriate treatment for that person. Her goal is to have her patients leave a visit feeling that they've had all their concerns addressed, and questions answered.
