Tipton Landscaping

Do not, under any circumstances, engage with Tipton Landscaping. The owner, Brandon Tipton, took our ~$24,000 cash deposit but never showed up and did ANY of the work, and he's now ghosting me. I've had to get the police involved and attorneys as well, and through that process I've learned I'm one of 5 that he has stolen from / defrauded this summer alone. I was as patient as I could be -- he seemed charming and competent -- but he cashed our check on May 2nd and it's now September 14th and he never showed up for any work or any start date. Always made excuses and pushed it back. Doesn't have the courtesy or integrity to respond to me as I was still willing to try and work out something -- anything -- with him as we can't afford to lose almost that much money. But received nothing back, never any guidance or direction or updates. Just silence. We don't believe that he is a man of integrity or compassion, and that he lacks a moral compass. He will likely declare bankruptcy and we'll get nothing back -- our only hope is a combined criminal lawsuit to prevent him from ever doing this to anyone else ever again.
