One star for being able to come out earlier than originally anticipated to look at my issue. Nothing else positive to say about this company.
Shady contractor came out today looking for every reason not to do the warrantied work. After a quick glance (literally) at my sump pump, he replied your sump pump is working fine, no issues. To which I replied, you haven't even run any diagnostics. He then proceeded to do his job and remove the sump cover to test the pump and lo and behold, the pump was not working. He then said I need to contact the warranty company to see if they will cover it. Comes back 15 minutes later and says they won't cover it because the AC condensate line is what is causing the motor to burn out. Wait, how did you come to that conclusion??? We've had heavy rains for the past two weeks and AC hasn't even been running and the condensate pipe is bone dry. He was quick to offer a $2000 estimate to perform the replacement work. Talk about shady. Needless to say, highly recommend steering clear of United Air Temp.
