I hired this company based on a door-to-door salesman approach (I know that's unwise). As it turned out, this company is a scam. They sent someone out to my house unannounced two weeks in a row for "quarterly service" and charged me for both visits. I also complained that weren't notified of either visit, so we could have let the serviceman in our house. They have been here 6 or 7 times since and have never let us know, so have only serviced inside once, despite out repeated requests. Today, they happened to come by yet again unannounced, but I was home, so I asked to get the interior treated...for the second time in two years of service. Unfortunately, the guy explained to me while standing in my garage that he had a pending Covid test and couldn't come inside. I paid around 120 bucks for a guy to spray some insecticide around my garage and spread some ant killer in my flower bed...he was here for less than 10 minutes, which is the norm for this company. Don't do it. There are too many good companies out there and the same (or better) prices to use this company.

If I could give 0 stars to this company, I would. It started with a salesman named Gabriel coming to our house at 8:30pm to offer us pest control (we thought that was strange- but looked over it). We were hesitant because we did not want to be under a lengthy contract- which he then ensured us that we could cancel at anytime with no additional cost and he even offered to throw in a free mosquito treatment as an incentive. Gabriel even went into great detail about this spider web removal device that they have and how we would see no spiders after the first treatment due to their one of a kind tool that they use. We were told that after the first treatment it was normal to see more bugs due to them coming out- this was completely fine with us as we understood. After the first visit there was no change in the amount of bugs and spiders that we were seeing. The spiders and webs were still there even several weeks after the first treatment. I called Urbanex again to tell them that we were still seeing spiders and no change in the amount of bugs that we were seeing. While on the phone with Urbanex, I mentioned that we were supposed to be receiving the free mosquito treatment (as promised by the salesman). She told me that she had no record of this in the notes and was extremely rude when I told her what he promised us. I told her that I would like to cancel my service due to no change in the amount of bugs we were seeing and lack of communication on their end. After the conversation, she decided to do the free mosquito treatment and have someone come out and spray again. After the second treatment we still had so many spiders and other insects, which indicated to me that the products that they were using were not working. Several weeks later my husband decided to spray Home Defense from Lowes around the house and we never saw another spider or bug in our house. I looked at the fine print in the contract that we signed and it stated that we have to cancel via ‘written consent’ to the Urbanex company. I sent a message to the email located on their website and never received a return email or phone call regarding the cancellation. I called to ensure that they received my email; as I sent the written cancellation notice as requested per the URBANEX contract. I was then put on the phone with an extremely rude woman in the accounting department. I explained to her that I would like to cancel; she kept asking “why” over and over after explaining to her that we were unhappy and no longer in need of the services provided by their company. After multiple attempts of explaining this to her, I very bluntly said “just cancel my service”. She goes on to explain that they tried to call and leave us a voicemail several days prior (which happened to be a COMPLETE LIE). My husband uses his phone for work and always has access; therefore, if they tried to call he would have been aware and especially noticed a voicemail. We paid the $150 early cancellation fee- which we were not told about before agreeing to the service to finally get rid of this absolutely terrible company. The woman hung up on me after receiving the $150 payment. I would NEVER recommend Urbanex to anyone, as their claim that their products are superior is completely false and certainly not for their terrible customer service. It is a total scam- stay as far far away from Urbanex as you can.

Have always had professional and punctual service from urbanex at a competitive rate. Had waylin out today. Fast friendly and professional. Great job.

This Company tries to please. They go out of there way to cover the property well. Chris has been here twice. Very professional and really nice.
