Dr. Virginia Richey is a family medicine physician in Denver. Originally from Mississippi, Dr. Richey relocated to Colorado for college and received her bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. Dr. Richey completed an internship and residency training at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver. She is board certified in family medicine and has been practicing for over 10 years. “I am a firm believer in the mind, body and spirit connection and appreciate its importance in healthcare and wellness. In building relationships with my patients, I make sure they have a voice in their healthcare.”Dr. Richey served on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Academy of Family Physicians and is a member of the Vaccine Advisory Committee for Colorado.In her free time, Dr. Richey can be found road cycling with her cycling club or backpacking in the Colorado wilderness with her wife, or reading fiction.
