Dr. Griffin has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2008 and a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor since 2015.
She received her Doctor of Education degree in Counselor Education and Supervision November 2013 and her M.A. in Professional Counseling in 2005 from Argosy University, Atlanta. She received a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Georgia in 2002. She provides supervision to counseling professionals seeking full licensure in the state of Georgia. Dr. Griffin is also a Clinical Faculty member at Southern New Hampshire University where she teaches in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. Her research interests include mental health and the church, diversity, violence against the LGBTQ+ in the Caribbean, depression among men of color, the professional development of women in academia, and the wellness of counselors.
