Winthrop Iron Works is located in Winthrop Washington and is a continuation of the blacksmithing tradition that has been ongoing here in Winthrop for several years. We continue to use the age old traditional hand forging methods to produce the pieces. Everything listed is produced here locally. Most of our iron can be viewed here locally at our retail store, The Iron Horse which is located in the town center of Winthrop. If you are in the area, or planning a trip, stop in and check out our work! Winthrop is in the beautiful Methow Vallery at the base of the North Cascades Highway. There are lots of things to do here including hiking, camping, fishing and Nordic skiing in the winter.

I placed an order for both the 5" and the 7" house numbers as a gift for a client and I have to share that the experience from beginning to end was outstanding. I placed the order online, and received the numbers very promptly (3-4 business days). We were scouring the web for some really nice numbers for our home and came upon Winthrop Iron Works. We wanted some very nice house numbers to mount on the rock since the house numbers on the house are so far away from the street. I called up Shawn ? who was EXTREMELY friendly & helpful and answered all my questions. I ordered 4 numbers ? received them in 3 days (with no S&H!!) and had them mounted. They look fabulous and are just what I was looking for. I HIGHLY recommend using Shawn as he does great work (and custom as well ? although I did buy his ?standard? font numbers). Very, very happy!!
