Your first mistake was outsourcing your onboarding. Your second mistake was trusting the Woltman Group. They don't care about you at all. I was at a startup that threw puzzle after puzzle at me that I had to dig and dig to find-out nobody could solve. I kept hearing from friends and family, "at least they pay you." But the biggest puzzle of them all was figuring out how to get the Woltman Group to pay me. I followed their instructions and when it didn't work I asked the right way to do it which they flat out refused to help me. I didn't have the bandwidth to figure it out or the energy to fight. For the first 3 weeks I couldn't wait for things to tie down to finally go over the Onboarding Person's head to get paid. When I did they protected their Onboarding Person. No apologies, not their style. Then I had a back and forth with the Protector of Onboarding...to finally figure it out. Trust me if people didn't need to keep their jobs they would be cursing the Woltman Group out Day 1 to hold their hand and make it easy. I got laid off and tried to get their help and they literally told me not to call them! Startup Life is hard enough, you don't need to be angry everyday after work since the Woltman Group won't help you.
