Hi there Alyssa! Baxter arrived about 8 hours ago outside the front gate of spangdahlem airbase. Thank you and the company and everyone who was involved with this quick move! I would definitely recommend you guys over the rest if anyone ever needed this service. We appreciate the fast work you guys did to get him over here. We gave you a deadline and you met it. Thanks Alyssa, sue, ed, and the gentleman in Germany who's name I did not quite get but he worked with pet air. We are reunited again thanks to you all!

If you’re debating whether or not to book Animals Away…do it. Alyssa and Animals Away are amazing. I just completed an international move from Kansas to the UK with my chihuahua Angus. She was there for me every step of the way. From our initial phone conversation to the time I was reunited with Angus in London, she was always there to answer questions, offer support, and make sure Angus’s travels were in order. Things I was impressed by: Professionalism: Alyssa knows her stuff. She explained the process and potential issues without sugarcoating anything. I appreciated her transparent approach to the process and felt confident that whatever happened, she would handle it. Communication: There was constant communication and Alyssa was very responsive to any questions I had. We communicated primarily through email, but I had access to her work number and cell number as well. When it was necessary, she kept me updated with phone calls. Dedication: When it comes to shipping your fur baby overseas, you want to know that he or she is in good hands. Those hands belong to Animals Away. The night before Angus was due to fly out, his flight was cancelled. Alyssa called right away to update me on the situation and she was already at work trying to sort out new travel plans. Thanks to all the restrictions from the pandemic, the best we could do was ship him the following week and have him board at the airport. I was obviously distraught, but knew he would be taken care of. I went to bed that night mentally preparing to say goodbye to Angus for a week. I woke up to a phone call from Alyssa that she had been up all night working to find a new flight for him. In a last-ditch effort, she managed to secure him booking on a fight that day. I was so grateful and relieved. Even if he hadn’t made it on a flight that day, I appreciated knowing that someone was working hard to take care of my Angus. Thank you to Alyssa and Animals Away for their wonderful service and dedication to shipping pets abroad.

I have had a long history with susan and the company, and this trip was our best yet. there are so many details and stresses that go into traveling your furry loved one, and having someone with the experience that susan and her team have is such a comfort. I flew to the UK, and that was a whole extra drama, with the current COVID-19 travel bans, and having to change flights last minute...Susan and JCS on the ground in London who she works with NAILED it all. Highly recommended.

I moved from Orlando, Florida to Alexandria, Virginia and I was not driving for my move. I took the Amtrak auto train so I knew I needed to find a company who could transport my two cats. I requested quotes from quite a few companies and Animal Away was one of the lowest quotes from “legitimate” pet transportation companies. There are a few sites out there that I wasn’t sure about. This was my first time using such a company so I wasn’t sure of the process. All in all everything worked out well. My cats stayed in boarding for a couple of days before they were transported. The company doesn’t transport on weekends. The cats were transported individually in large crates. Luckily I could fit the crates in my car and I have a large sedan. They appeared well taken care of during the transport which was with United Airlines. The only thing I would have like to have had a more itemized receipt of the total costs. All in all I would recommend the company but be prepared for the expense (over $2K) to transport two cats plus 4-5 days in boarding before transport. I had to provide food for them as well. I also didn’t get to keep my soft carriers which I used to take my cats to meet the transporter. Supposedly the airlines don’t allow them, which I didn’t know nor was told. It’s fine they’re replaceable my cats aren’t.

I can’t say enough regarding our experience with Animals Away. They handled the international transport of our beloved dog from the U.S. to Italy with complete professionalism, attention to detail and most importantly expert care of our pet. In addition, their responsiveness to our questions and inquires while our dog was enroute was timely and informative. Every step of the way we were notified. They were awesome. My husband and I chose Animals Away to import our dog from Florida to South Africa. After carefully looking into our options, we are glad we picked them. They were very professional and helpful throughout this process. The staff went above and beyond in taking care of our dog Dessa. Animals Away learned that Dessa did not have the proper bloodwork done due to our vets mistake. They worked to correct her mistake and even get a refund from the vet. The staff kept us updated, in regards to Dessa, and reduced our stress in waiting for her to get to South Africa. I would highly recommend Animals Away to anyone and would work with them again in the future.

Susan is absolutely the best. We shipped Anzio, a 130 pound 3 year old Rottweiler to Frankfort, Germany to met up with his owners (Nick and Emily). Nick is an Airman recently assigned to Ramstein and Emily is my daughter. The kids researched all the shipping options and decided to use Animalsaway. I didn't question their decision, and I did as they requested. Susan and I worked out details and Anzio made it safe and sound. Again, Susan many thanks. We got two happy kids and a happy Rottweiler.
