You’ve got to have passion for your job, and that means doing your homework and really paying attention to why you’re doing these things — a lot of people don’t. It has a really negative effect if you’re just in this industry for yourself. A lot of people get into this business without the experience or the desire to do it, and their results reflect that. They can hope and pray they get good reviews, but people aren’t satisfied when they get good results just one time. You have to continue to deliver that and maintain your level of service to your customers. I’d also recommend using top-tier equipment and maintaining it. That’s so important so you can deliver the same great service and result year after year.”
