We wanted to learn all about Newark Day Nursery and Children’s Center, so we took a few minutes to talk with the Program Director, Corinne Dries.
The first question we had for Corinne was what is it that sets Newark Day Nursery and Children’s Center apart from their competition in Delaware. Corinne points to the fact that they are a non-profit organization that’s been around since 1961. Any money that comes in goes directly to operations, and they are constantly giving to the families they serve. They have great teachers at Newark Day Nursery and Children’s Center, and they are the face of the organization.
We also wanted to know what their mission is at Newark Day Nursery and Children’s Center and how they work to make the world a better place. Corinne told us that they are here to “educate, enrich and inspire” and to be the leading change for education.
Building Success With Great Teachers
Corinne attributes Newark Day Nursery and Children’s Center’s strong online reputation to their teachers, who are the front-runners of the school. There is a very low turnover rate, and the families love the teachers. They help to create a confident, comfortable environment for the students and their families.
Outside of building a powerful online reputation, Newark Day Nursery and Children’s Center has gotten their name out there through local ads, yard signs in their community, strategic community partnerships, word of mouth and social media, particularly Facebook.
