Not Your Average Event Planning Company
We were excited to learn all about Absolutely IN! Events and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the President, Ellen Condie. Ellen began her professional career as a licensed attorney, and founded Absolutely IN!, alongside her partner, Teresa Randle, in 2010.
Ellen noticed that event planning utilized similar skill sets as practicing law, like the need to become extremely close with the people you are working with, which has been one of the things she loves most about this exciting career. She said:
“These events are sometimes the most important events they may ever have. You have to respect that. The greatest thing about this work is being a part of people’s lives and seeing the joy and excitement we can bring them.”
We wanted to know was what it is that makes Absolutely IN! Events stand apart from its competitors. Ellen told us about their incredible staff, and said that theirs is a culture of teamwork and support. There is a wide range of reasons people might need the services of an event planner, and Ellen said that they have the excellent staff available to help people with whatever they need, whether that means help on the creative side of things or help from someone who is more of a Project Manager. Two years ago, they even employed a Creative Director, Melody Lowry, who Ellen said has taken their business to a new level of success. No matter the need, they have the right people to help their clients plan the event of their dreams. Ellen said:

On that note, Ellen wanted to take the time to bring awareness to an amazing organization, called RISE Collaborative Workshop, who they share their office with. RISE Collaborative is both a workspace for professional women to conduct business and a curated community for women focused on growing professionally and personally.
