We were excited to learn all about Skip’s Garage Doors and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the owner, Skip Elmer.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes Skip’s Garage Doors stand apart from its competitors. Skip told us that his pricing and honesty set him apart, as well as the fact that they focus on educating their customers.
Building Success By Giving Back
Skip’s Garage Doors has earned an incredible reputation, so we were excited to hear more about some of the ways they have gotten their name out and grown their company. While Skip said that they have focused on using Google to grow their business, most of their success has come from word of mouth and by being a Menard’s contractor. Of course, they have also recognized the power of online reviews. We asked Skip what his secret is to having so many great reviews. He said that he is honest with his customers and that the reviews just come naturally.
They have also been recognized thanks to how much they give back to their community. They sponsor local charities and work with the Special Olympics and children’s sports teams. Skip said that this is his retirement job, and he just wants to try to give back to the community that has given so much to him.
