We got a chance to speak with Gene Merck, the owner of The Door Guys, to chat about his business’ tremendous online reputation.
First things first, we wanted to know how The Door Guys differentiate themselves from other garage door contractors in the area. When we asked Gene, he simply said, “A lot of people like how respectful and timely we are.”
Of course, we were also particularly interested in finding out why Gene and his team do what they do. “Customer service is our number one goal,” he told us.

The Door Guys started building their online reputation because people wanted to know how they could provide positive feedback. Gene told us, “We started a facebook page. We got responses on how quick we do jobs. People asked how they could review us for doing such a good job.”
