Not Your Average Massage Therapist
We were excited to learn all about how The Spa’ah has been able to build such an impressive reputation, so we sat down with the Spa Coordinator, Jake Wechsler.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes The Spa’ah stand apart from their competitors. Jake told us about their extremely skilled and talented staff. They have eight massage therapists and two estheticians, who Jake says are all committed to making sure the clients are getting the best service.
We asked Jake about The Spa’ah’s business mission, which he described as:
“ We strive to become your destination resource for kinetic wellness and relaxation therapies. We offer a significant menu of modalities, a comfortable environment, and friendly, knowledgeable staff that assist you in achieving your health and wellness goals.”
Building Success Through Community Involvement
The Spa’ah is a small and locally-owned and -operated business that has been around for five years. Jake tells us that the owner, Michelle, really built it from the ground up.
In addition to building a strong online reputation, The Spa’ah has managed to market and grow their business by being involved in the community. The whole staff is involved in BNI, which is an organization revolved around word-of-mouth referrals. One of their staff is involved in the local Chamber of Commerce, and all of the staff participate in volunteer opportunities. They are located close to four different colleges, so they regularly visit them to spread health and wellness awareness. Jake said:
“We take advantage of every opportunity to get out into the community on a day-to-day basis.”
