Not Your Average Photographer
We wanted to learn more about Brian G Wilson Photography and its outstanding online reputation, so we took a few minutes to talk with Brian himself, the owner.
The first question we had for Brian was what is it that sets him apart from the many other photographers in Arkansas. Here’s his response:
“I give people ideas on how the photos should be shot. For example, if it’s a beautiful day out, I like to have clients go outside to create a great picture. Sometimes, it’s a different shot then maybe what the client originally came in for. I am willing to experiment to get the best shots.”
Brian went on to add:
“I feel it’s important to be a certified photographer. The certification process is very tough. It has a written test, and you have to submit 15 images that meet criteria to a board of judges. If one picture fails, you do not get certified. I got certified for the knowledge and for the proof of the quality of my work.”
Brian explained to us that you can be a photographer without being certified, but that it means that you have met a higher standard.
We also wanted to know what Brian’s mission is and how he works to make the world a better place. Here’s what he had to say:
“Everybody deserves a beautiful portrait or pictures; [my goal is to] make it memorable.”
Building Success Through Good Service

“One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is just to ask. When I take a nice picture of someone, I ask for them to leave a review on how I did. I try to give customers a link to leave a review.”
