I have never had any issues with bed bugs until I moved in to a large hi-rise for the elderly. After living here about 4 years, I woke up one morning with severe itchy bite marks on the back of my upper right arm just above the elbow (I sleep in a recliner because of a badly deteriorating lower spine). I went to a dermatologist and he informed me that I had bed bug bites. I notified the hi-rise management and they sent a maintenance man up two different times over a six month period to spray my apartment but I kept getting bit about every three or four months. I looked all over the Internet and found the Bed Bug Store. I purchased some of their small plastic bed bug traps. I placed one close to each of the two rear legs. I waited about a month and one day as I was going out for my mail, I noticed a small tannish object inside the one trap. Upon closer examination, I found a dead bed bug. I have been free of bed bugs now for almost two years.
