Worst experience. My cat had fatty liver disease. They figured it was lymphoma or FIP. My cat was diagnosed from the blood test 8 days after his hospital release. 2 days later he was dead. 18 month old kitty. No treatment until hours before his death I was told I could spend close to another $3,000 for a feeding tube. I didn't have $3,000 readily available as I spent $3,000 dollars on July 20 for him to be hydrated and tested. They sent home inadequate medication while waiting for results. They then sent home more of the meds that were not helping. 2 separate phone calls and 2 separate trips to Westford Emergency Veterinary Hospital because each time the doctor thought of something else that would work better. 2 days after we received his diagnosis he died of starvation. Because it took them so long to get blood work done. Inadequate medication. One was even specifically FOR DOGS. My kitty weighed 5lbs in June. He weighed 3 lbs when he was a patient at Westford Emergency Veterinary Hospital. He died weighing 2lbs. Fatty Liver Disease is treatable and curable. These horrible people placed their profits over my pet's life. Now he's dead. But they did offer a payment plan to euthanize him. WTF. Why wouldn't a payment plan to save the kitty's life offered? Or timely medical attention or timely diagnosis? This is a great place for people who don't want their money anymore and want to watch their beloved pets suffer and die. Go to Tufts. Go anywhere else. Do not go to Westford Emergency Veterinary Hospital.
