I was recommended to Dr. Carrie Scarff by my Mom who has been wearing hearing aids for many years and has received excellent service from her and the staff. When I took the hearing test I was quite surprised and shocked to find out that I had some hearing loss. In the beginning and in all honesty, it was a bit of a struggle for me as I thought my hearing was just fine and really did not like the idea of having to wear hearing aids. Dr. Carrie Scarff was so caring, patient, understanding, encouraging and very professional in explaining the importance of wearing hearing aids to prevent further loss of my hearing. She showed me the newest, advanced hearing aids which would be a perfect fit and together we chose the Moxi-behind-the-ear model. I am still in the early stages of adapting to my hearing aids but definitely do notice sounds that I was missing before. In fact, now I need to turn the television down because it is too loud. Other sounds are more magnified so it does take some time to adjust to them. If I am somewhere and it is too noisy, I can simply turn my hearing aids down. A big, huge thank you to Dr. Carrie Scarff and all the staff who are so pleasant, respectful and eager to assist you with your questions or concerns. Everyone is so friendly and Dr. Carrie Scarff is absolutely the most wonderful, dedicated audiologist whom I would recommend to everyone.
