What is your secret to such a strong online reputation?
Simply being active is one of the best things you can do. Stay out there, and post stuff regularly to as many platforms as you can.
I’ve been doing this for a long time, and over the last 13 years, I’ve put out a lot of work that prospective clients can easily find. With all of that experience and all of the images out there, it speaks to my expertise and encourages people to leave reviews.
What makes you different? In other words, if you had one minute to sell somebody on why they should choose you, what would you say?
My images stand the test of time. I am dedicated to taking images that are elegant, vibrant and in-the-moment; in fact, those are the pillars of my work. I will never force anything in order to get a shot. I will do whatever it takes to capture the right moment naturally.
Why do you do what you do? In other words, what is your mission and/or how do you attempt to make the world a better place?
As a wedding photographer, I aim to help my clients treasure their big day for 10, 20 and even 50 years. Marriage is full of ups and downs, but my hope is to provide my clients with wedding photographs that truly capture their love, allowing them to look back at those photos during the down moments and keep that love alive.
Outside of building a strong online reputation, what else do you do to market and grow your business?
I’ve been a wedding photographer for years now, and I always strive to provide high-quality service and stunning work. This has helped me generate referrals and repeat business from my clients.
I also focus on staying up to date with the latest social media trends, particularly Instagram.
What advice do you have for other businesses trying to build a strong online reputation and grow their business?
Always serve your clients well, and do so with enthusiasm and a dedication to quality. When it comes to marketing, be consistent with your efforts across every possible channel. Last but certainly not least, say yes to everything! Taking risks and putting yourself out there will help to open up many more doors than just doing what you know.
