We sat down with Lisa Preece, the owner of Dance Illusion, to find out what sets them apart from other dance schools. Here’s what she had to say:
“We teach proper technique right from the very beginning, so even in our three-year-old classes, we start teaching them proper technique right from the very start. A lot of people, I think, wait until they get a little bit older because they think they can’t handle it yet, but we think that it’s better for kids to learn right from the start….”

“Dance has been my life as long as I can remember, because I started when I was three, so it’s all I know. It’s been a huge part of my life. I had teachers and instructors that influenced me not just to be a better dancer but also to be a better person. We just teach life skills that you need whether you continue with dance or go into something else. So that’s something we want to instill into our students. It’s not just learning about dance but also learning about life skills.”
