Not Your Average Barber Shop
We were excited to learn all about Blades Barber Shop and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the owner, Sarah Horrall.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes Blades Barber Shop stand apart from its competitors. Sarah told us that it all starts with their small-town feel, meaning that she develops deep relationships with her customers and always treats her first customer the same way she treats her last customer. Sarah is a second-generation barber (her mother was a barber for 30 years) so she knows a thing or two about how to offer incredible service. She said that, generally, guys have gotten used to going to a salon because it’s where their wives go, but that at Blades Barber Shop, they are a specialized barber shop that just does men’s hair and uses straight razors.
We wanted to know about the Blades Barber Shop business mission, and Sarah described it to us as:

Building Success By Loving What They Do
Blades Barber Shop has earned a phenomenal reputation, so we were excited to hear about some of the ways they have gotten their name out and grown their business. Sarah told us about some of the cool promotions they offer, which include Whiskey Wednesday, where they offer their clients a customary drink from different distilleries. They are looking forward to their upcoming two-year anniversary party, which she promises will be full of fun stuff.
