We were excited to learn all about how Mark’s Barbershop has been able to build such an impressive reputation, so we sat down with the owner, Mark Varone.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes Mark’s Barbershop stand apart from their competitors. To start, it is clear that the staff at Mark’s really love what they do, and get along well while working as a solid team. This hard-working crew offers a variety of services, and Mark says that they employ both cosmetologists as well as barbers.
“Our goal is to make people feel better than when they came in. You make them feel good. It is all about that feeling and vibe.”
Building Success Through Consistency
Mark’s Barbershop is a family-oriented shop that has been in business for 18 years. They have managed to build such an incredible reputation over the years that we were excited to chat with Mark about some of the ways they have marketed and grown their company. He said that while they post a bit on their Facebook page, word of mouth has been their most valuable resource for new business. Many people refer their friends and family, but even more come in because they had read the glowing reviews online.
