We wanted to learn what makes this award-winning business tick, so we took a few minutes to talk with Phil Hyatt, co-owner of Carson City BBQ.

“We do all you can eat and cook fresh, on-site barbecue. Nobody else does that. Winning 80 awards for your cooking and being in business for 22 years with a spotless reputation doesn’t hurt either.”

“We do all-you-can-eat and cook fresh, professional barbecue catering, so when we do our catering, it’s second to none. We do everything fresh that day. We don’t rewarm; we remake. I actually bring a cook or two to them and cook fresh right on-site, so it’s very unique. We make all our own sauces, rubs and marinades. We’re the bomb!”
