Not Your Average Funeral Home
We were excited to learn all about Kraft-Sussman Funeral & Cremation Services and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the owner and President, Laura.
Kraft-Sussman Funeral & Cremation Services is a local, independently-owned funeral home that is dedicated to providing personalized, compassionate, and dignified care for a fair price. They can help you and your family out with a burial, cremation, funeral services, memorial services, and worldwide shipping. Laura told us that they develop relationships with all of the families they serve because they believe in the importance of taking care of people in a personal way.
Laura also told us about their incredible team, which is made up of six full-time staff members, several part-time staff members, and one licensed therapy dog, named Obie, which makes Kraft-Sussman Funeral & Cremation Services the only funeral home in Southern Nevada that employs a therapy dog! Laura says that their staff is like family and that they work together to promote a comfortable and relaxed environment for their clients. They do not work on commission, which means they are never incentivized to put any pressure on anyone and can instead focus on their business’ mission of taking care of people based on their individual needs. Together, they work to make life for their clients as easy as possible in their time of need.
Building Success by Caring for Others
Kraft-Sussman Funeral & Cremation Services has earned an incredible reputation, so we were excited to hear about some of the ways they have marketed and grown their business. Laura said that their success is largely due to word of mouth and that they greatly appreciate the families who have referred them to others. Kraft-Sussman is also involved in the community. Laura sits on a number of boards and makes donations to local charities. On top of all this, the staff all participates in volunteer work.
