We were excited to learn all about Webster Funeral Home and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the Funeral Director, Mike Webster.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes Webster Funeral Home stand apart from its competitors. Mike told us that they treat their clients like one of the family, and that they do that by offering complete transparency about the entire process, including the cost. He said that they never upcharge or upsell anything and that they provide options galore for a fantastic price in the hopes that their guests are able to make the most informed decision.
He said:
“We [provide] genuine compassion and actually want to make sure we do a good job to ensure that people feel good at the end of their experience with us. We really go out of our way to make people feel loved, cared for, and respected. We make them feel like they did indeed make a good decision by choosing us. Somebody gets us once; we get them forever.”
We asked Mike to tell us more about their overall business mission or how they make the world a better place. He told us:
“We just want to be here for people in their time of need and during an unimaginably emotional time. We’re there for people when they need something. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you’ve come from, if you’ve experienced a loss, we’re here for you.”
Building Success By Offering More
There are many businesses out there that are looking to build as impressive a reputation as Webster Funeral Home has managed to. Mike said that they have gotten their name out by using TV commercials, billboards, and by offering special packaged plans.
He told us a bit more about those plans:
“We’ve got a couple of package plans that are specifically designed for the two types of people that don’t spend a lot of money on funerals. Those are the ones that A) don’t have a lot of money and B) don’t see the value in spending a lot of money. So we’ve come up with packages that encompass pretty much everybody across the board. The pricing plans that we have fit every budget, fit every type of preference, and fit all geographics of humans. There’s just nobody that we can’t serve, and there’s something that everybody can afford.”
