Not Your Average Event Venue
We were excited to learn all about Bellevue Barn at Carlisle Place and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the General Manager and Event Coordinator, Rebecca Hicks.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes Bellevue Barn at Carlisle Place stand apart from its competitors. Rebecca told us:
“Compared to other venues, we make the process very personalized. I work with each couple, from their initial visit up until the wedding has been completed. I plan with the couple to make sure that everything is executed perfectly the day-of. To be able to work with one coordinator is very different from other companies, where you deal with several people over the course of that planning period, and sometimes, things get lost in translation. With me, I get to know these couples and their wedding vision, so each event becomes extremely personalized.”
She also told us about their business mission:
“Our main mission is to make people happy. Weddings are meant to bring forth so much love and happiness between families, and we want to procure that experience for them throughout the whole process. We also strive to be cognizant of cultural and ethical differences.”

“It’s really important for couples that are searching for their dream wedding venue to be able to look at reviews and feel confident in the great experiences that others have had at our venue. We work really hard to make their wedding at our venue flawless, from start to finish! When we have couples tell us how amazing their wedding day was, we strongly encourage them to write a review so that other couples know the effort we put into our work and what amazing memories they could make at our venue as well.”

“We are working to be very eco-friendly by making sure that we’re using renewable resources. One example is that we recently switched over to glassware in the bar, so we don’t use any excess plastic.”

Take online classes, and sign up for webinars. I think all of that is super important to finding success.”
