We wanted to learn more about this two-time award winner and how they managed to build such an impressive online reputation, so we took a few minutes to talk with Jodi Ramos, the owner of Millyard Studios.

“One of the reasons why people would choose us over other photographers is how much we care about our clients and their photo experience. At the end of the day, our job is to help our clients and to guide them through all aspects of our photography.”

She added:

“For example, with weddings, we’ll help them figure out what timeline we should go by, how to have a stress-free wedding and some dos and don’ts. On the day of, it’s our goal to keep people on track and make sure that we’re doing our jobs thoroughly. For our other sessions. We go through what to expect in the session. If we’re photographing a baby, we go over what to wear. We’re a full-service studio, and we’re trying to keep our clients educated about the best photos and the best photo experience.”

“Our Millyard mission is to be there to document people’s lives. We want to tell our clients’ stories through our photography. One of the things I really enjoy is following our clients throughout their lives. We will do their engagement photos, and then photograph their wedding. Then years later, they come back for maternity photos, first birthday photos and family photos. We’re building our own community here of clients who just keep coming back and telling their friends.”
