We were excited to learn all about Legacy Painting and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the owner, Kevin Calmes.
Legacy Painting has been in business for 20 years. We asked Kevin how they have managed to stand apart from their competitors. He told us that their success comes from having an awesome staff. Kevin said:
“We have a lot of pieces to our business and are really fortunate to have really good people to keep the system running. We’re not a fly-by-night painter. Also, everybody is employed with us and are not subcontractors… What makes us successful is having good people, and we’re very fortunate to have good people.”
When we asked Kevin about the Legacy Painting business mission, he said:
“Our mission is to grow and create a culture that feels like a family, a place where people know that they are appreciated and cared for.”
Building Success, Online And Off
Legacy Painting has earned a fantastic reputation, so we asked Kevin how they have managed to grow their business and get their name out. He said that they have had success utilizing Google and Facebook to keep up with their past customers and stay involved in the community.

“We paint for a school, called Seeworth Academy, which is an alternative school where we’ve been volunteering for the last three years. We also give to our local food bank and just started working with a non-profit, called the Hope Center.”
