Not Your Average Pet Groomer
Courtney Baddern, the Administration Assistant at Soggy Dog Salon and Suites, took some time to chat with us about the business’ outstanding online reputation.
When asked what it is that elevates Soggy Dog Salon and Suites above other pet groomers in the area, Courtney told us it’s in the details. “[It’s] the level of care we provide… We take out the dogs six times per day and their accommodations are spacious and the staff cares about the dogs as if they were their own,” she said. “ We have very compassionate members on the team. We put the dogs in a suite while waiting. Big dogs get 30 square feet and small dogs get eight square feet, with raised beds with blankets and everything. We get here at 6:30 in the morning and are here until nine at night, so we are taking them out off-leash. As long as they pass the temperament test and get along with other dogs, they get to go out and socialize and play.”
The team at Soggy Dog Salon and Suites is passionate about what they do. “We take pride in caring for animals. We want to provide as much care as possible and be there for people who sometimes call the day-of due to emergency situations. We are there for the client…” she told us.
Building Success Through Excellent Service
As for a secret to success, Courtney chalks it up to the high level of customer care Soggy Dog Salon and Suites provides, saying, “Our [secret to success is] customer service. We make sure we go above and beyond for all the dogs and our clients. We want to take care of the dogs. Our slogan is, ‘it’s your dog’s vacation destination.’ We do boarding mostly, and daycare and baths.”

“When you do a good job and take care of your customers, they want to tell people about you. We don’t ask them to leave reviews on Google, they choose to do that. Make sure customer service is top notch. We train our staff in customer service.”
