The first thing we wanted to know was what makes Lanna Wing Photography unique compared to the many other photographers in Wyoming. Lanna told us that, with her, clients get a fun experience rather than just getting their picture taken.
When we asked what the secret is to such a solid online reputation at Lanna Wing Photography, Lanna pointed to the fact that she asks her wedding clients for reviews, as well as to the many organic reviews she’s received from her other clients.
Making the World a Better Place by Giving Back
We also wanted to know what the mission is at Lanna Wing Photography and how Lana works to make the world a better place. She told us about the many ways she gives back to her community:
“This weekend, I’m teaching a class. …I do tons of community stuff. Every year at Christmas, I do Santa pictures and donate all of the proceeds to the food pantry. I provide the newspaper with all of their sports photos. I never charge them. If people ask, and it’s within my ability to do, I usually do it. I just made a gift certificate yesterday for a family that’s having a benefit because the husband was diagnosed with ALS and they need money for hospital stuff. I donated a photo session to be auctioned off for that. …If it’s within my ability to help people, I do it.”
Outside of building a powerful online reputation, Lanna Wing Photography has grown by handing out pens branded with her logo on them when she does sports and school photos:
