ARC Physical Therapy+ has managed to build the kind of reputation any business owner would envy, and to learn a little more about that reputation and this one-of-a-kind business, we sat down with Matt Cummings, Clinic Director and Certified Hand Therapist.
The first thing we wanted to know was what makes ARC Physical Therapy+ unique compared to the many other physical therapy clinics in Missouri. Matt told us:
“We do a lot of different types of business here. We are a midwestern company. Our corporate headquarters is here in town. We have a big company feel, but we’re still a small company. Everyone knows each other here and likes that feeling of knowing everyone! We have as many service lines as you can think of, too. We do occupational therapy, workman’s comp therapy and have recently added specialty services, like cancer rehab and vestibular rehab. We’re trying to branch out from what you would think a traditional therapy company would do. We want to meet our community’s specific needs!”
Matt went on to add:
“We do an all-staff get together twice a year for our entire company. We want to build relationships with each other, not just with our patients!”

We’ve developed relationships with caseworkers and adjusters to let them know we’re here, too. When it comes to workman’s comp, we immerse ourselves in our patient’s company so that we know what they need to rehab for, be it the job or the environment.”

“Get to know the population that you’re doing business with. Figure out what their needs are, and serve those needs the best you can. Build local relationships as best as you can, too!”
