Not Your Average Physical Therapists
We were excited to learn all about ProTailored Physical Therapy and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with Vanessa Evans.
Vanessa told us a bit about how why they decided to start their own business and the mission they hope to work towards:
“My husband and I started this business we saw a need for a slower pace treatment. The traditional model is cranking through patients and we focus on a slow deep pace. We want to make sure people are getting the care they need.”
We asked Vanessa how they have been able to stand out from other physical therapy clinics in the area. She told us about the kind of personal care they are dedicated to offering:
“We offer a true one-on-one model. Traditional models use assistants and aids. With us, you are with the same physical therapist the whole time. You get specific tailored care and we believe in using an educational and manual approach. The staff is deeply trained and we focus on keeping them trained. We consider mental and emotional care [to heal] the whole body. We also offer a private setting, and people are more comfortable in that setting. It allows our therapists to really get to know our patients and to really dig into the problems they might not feel as comfortable exploring in a gym setting.”
Building Success And Giving Back
ProTailored Physical Therapy has earned a phenomenal reputation in the four years they’ve been around, so we were excited to hear about some of the ways they have gotten their name out and grown their business. Vanessa said that they are trying to grow as fast as they can, and they have done so by sending out Newsletters and offering free health workshops in their clinic. They are also actively involved in their local community where they have been involved with different races like Race for Warriors, and donate 5-percent of their profits to local companies. Last year they donated to Safe Families. Of course, they have also seen the benefit of positive online reviews. When we asked Vanessa what their secret is to getting those reviews, she said:
“Our patients are really good at filling out reviews because they want to support a local business and share their experience with us.”
