Not Your Average Restaurant
We were excited to learn all about how Partovi’s Gyros & Falafel has been able to build such a fantastic reputation, so we sat down with co-owner, Kori Partovi.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes Partovi’s Gyros & Falafel stand apart from their competitors. According to Kori, the main difference between Partovi’s Gyro & Falafel is their dedication to quality. She told us, “I would have to say that anyone that comes to place an order at our food truck, you will get exactly what you expect; fresh produce, fresh quality. We shave the meat to order. Everything that we serve and put out that window is something that I would turn around and probably smash myself.”
When asked about the Partovi’s Gyros & Falafel secret to success, Kori said, “We literally have myself and my husband who are the owners. Then we have one other gentleman that is a manager he works a lot of the hours and we like his help on the back side, plus we go out there and work quite a few shifts as well. But one of our most important features is, I think, we really try to create a personal relationship with each of our customers. Most of them, we actually memorize and recognize their faces. We just talk to them like they’re friends coming to visit us and we happen to serve them lunch or dinner.”
Building Success Through Unity

“I think my advice to other businesses would be to not look at other businesses as competition but rather how you can join them and kind of bond together and become a team and figure out how you can work together to build your businesses with each other. Because once you show that selflessness and once you show that love, it’s not really putting yourself first but rather putting your community, your colleagues, self-employed workers, and businesses first.”
