In order to learn a little more about this one-of-a-kind restaurant and its impressive online reputation, we took a few minutes to talk with Joe Stouffer, general manager at Young Joni.
To kick off our conversation, we asked Joe what sets Young Joni apart from the many other restaurants people could frequent in Minnesota. Joe points to their unique cuisine and their friendly approach to service:
“Everything here is cooked over wood. We have a nice feel for food, too. We’re heavily into pizzas, but we also have a lot of international dishes. We always have our Korean beef short ribs, and right now, we have our baba ganoush. We have great food that makes people feel good!”
Joe went on to add:
“We also have a great cocktail program. We have specialty drinks and our back bar, which some of our patrons call our speakeasy!”
We also wanted to know what their mission is at Young Joni and how they work to make the world a better place. Here’s what Joe had to say:
“One of our brand pillars is that we provide an excellent experience for the in-crowd, plus everyone else! We base our experience around our hearth by our cooking fires, and we want people to gather around it like they would at home.”
