They were highly responsive to my initial price and menu inquiries and efficient in putting together a cocktail reception menu and floor plan. Most impressively, they did all of this from a distance (our organization is based in New York), and on somewhat short notice. [The employee] who I worked with, gave great advice on the number of hors d’oeuvres to order, and smart suggestions for the room arrangement. He was also happy to include a vegan and gluten-free option on our menu. We spoke with Heidi Ingelfinger, the senior event planner at Artemis Foods, about the business’ online reputation:
First things first, we wanted to know the Artemis Foods secret to success. “Our food quality is outstanding, we pride ourselves on using the freshest ingredients and all food comes from less than 10 hours away from Portland. Customer service is always a huge priority as well. We make sure our clients are 100 percent satisfied. Any time we start working with a client they are dealing with the same point of contact for their entire experience. We want to make sure they have the event exactly as they want it, and they are reexplaining their needs,” Heidi said. “We also focus on complete sustainability, from the trucks we use, bio-diesel trucks, to all products we use. We recycle absolutely everything we can and bring all food waste back to our location for compost. We are very focused on environmental sustainability.”
Building Success Through Accountability and Service
Heidi is an important member of the Artemis Foods team, and through the work she has done, she has learned what it takes to get a solid online reputation. Here’s her advice to others that want to build, maintain, or improve their online reputation:
“Be as responsive as possible when people reach out to you. Not only is it important to have a solid answering system ready and able to help prospective clients, but it’s also very important to have a strong follow up plan and do so in a timely manner. Also, be up front about the services you offer and make sure when you claim to offer something it is truly what you offer an it is at a high quality. Finally, set the goal of not just meeting client expectations but exceeding client expectations.”
