Not Your Average Lawn Care Company
We were excited to learn all about Agro Lawn and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the Co-Owner, Steven Bailey.
Steven and his brother, Patrick, started Agro Lawn 25 years ago. Steven has been working in the lawn care industry since high school. He went to college and had initially wanted to stay in landscaping and mowing, but soon transitioned to majoring in horticulture with an emphasis in turf management.
Agro Lawn is the largest locally-owned lawn care business in Howard County. Its employees are very well versed in the kind of turf management needed in their specific area. This team is able to provide years of experience and a great eye for knowing exactly what needs to be done.
Longevity is another plus this company is able to provide their clients, with some employees having been with the company for over 10 years.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes Agro Lawn stand apart from their competitors. Steven told us about their excellent service and the importance they place on educating their customers:
“We stand behind our work. If there is a concern, we will fix it. We educate our customers on everything involved with their lawn, which is very important in Maryland. We never try to overpromise.”
We also asked if Steven could tell us a bit more about their business mission:

Steven told us that they send out postcards and do a lot of outreach within their community. In fact, they just finished sponsoring a 5k supporting F.I.R.N. in Columbia, Maryland.
