We were excited to learn all about Pet Spa & Grooming and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with Jen, one of the co-owners.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes Pet Spa & Grooming stand apart from its competitors. Jen said that they take a lot of pride in the job they do, and that it really makes a difference when you have a team that loves their job.
Jen shared that a big part of their business mission is focused on helping people take care of their pets. Before they leave, they make sure that each animal is completely cared for, and they always share with their clients if they found any ticks, bumps, or issues with the pet’s skin.
Building Success By Making Pets and People Happy
Pet Spa & Grooming has earned a fantastic reputation, so we asked Jen how they have managed to grow their business and get such great reviews. She said that they focus on giving every animal their full attention and giving them the time they deserve. By making sure they do a good job, the reviews come naturally.
In addition to building the kind of online reputation that any small business would envy, Pet Spa & Grooming has spread the word about who they are and what they do mostly through word of mouth. Jen shared:
“Word of mouth is best. If a customer likes you, they’re going to tell other people that they loved the grooming and that the dogs have a good, positive experience and grooming here. If a dog leaves here happy, that’s what we like.”

“Talk to the customers. Work with the customers. Keep a positive mind with the animals. [Don’t] overbook yourself. That’s one of our biggest things is that we don’t overbook. We make sure we have plenty of time for each dog. Be honest with the customer. Honesty is very important.”
