What Staffing with Bliss’s secret to success? We sat down with the President of Staffing with Bliss, Jodie Ervin, to find out.
What is your secret to such a strong online reputation?
Hiring the right people is, hands down, the most important thing you can do. That’s why we take the time to ensure we hire the right recruiters. Our recruiters are the best in the business. They are willing to go above and beyond for their clients and candidates by making themselves available before and after hours, and they never have to be asked to do the right thing.
With recruiters like these, we know that our clients are being treated right, and with that kind of service, we feel comfortable asking for reviews.
What makes you different? In other words, if you had one minute to sell somebody on why they should choose you, what would you say?
We are committed to placing the right people on the right job, and we’ll always do our due diligence with research into background work and additional screenings. We’ve been doing this for a long time, and we know what questions to ask and how to ask them.
Instead of just finding anyone for the job as a placeholder, we focus on quality placements. And, instead of just matching an employee by their skill set, we take the time to ensure that they are a good culture fit for the organization. We believe in the old adage that says, “If you do the right thing, money will follow.”
Why do you do what you do? In other words, what is your mission and/or how do you attempt to make the world a better place?
Our passion and love for helping people drive us each and every day. If at the end of the day, we’ve helped someone, we’ve done our job. The most rewarding aspect of our jobs is the feeling we get when we hear that we’ve placed someone in the right position, knowing that job we’ve helped them find with making a positive impact in their ability to provide for themselves and their families.
Outside of building a strong online reputation, what else do you do to market and grow your business?
Through social networking, we’ve worked hard to build relationships throughout the community, and we thrive on referrals from our happy clients. Additionally, we are active on social media.
What advice do you have for other businesses trying to build a strong online reputation and grow their business?
Again, the most important thing any company can do is to hire the right people.
From there, learning about social media is helpful. And, being willing and able to align yourself with outside resources and people is important, especially when you don’t have those resources internally.
When all is said and done, you just have to do it!
