We were excited to learn all about how Serenity Funeral Home has been able to build such an impressive reputation, so we sat down with the CFO, Dana Hauger.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes Serenity Funeral Home stand apart from their competitors. In Dana’s words, “I think because we’re very personal and we can customize anything due to the fact that we’re not a corporate entity. We’re really able to customize and personalize every case that comes in.”
When asked about the Serenity Funeral Home mission, Dana said, “We’re your community funeral home where your family is our priority. That’s truly how we feel. At the end of the day, even if families don’t stick with us when they come in to get pricing or information, if we’re able to educate everybody that comes in the door regarding how the process works, then we kind of feel like we’ve won… Obviously, we give hugs. We do anything we can, depending upon the family and the person we’re taking care of, to just help. That’s basically what it is, giving back where we can and helping where it’s needed.
