What is your secret to such a strong online reputation?
One of the most important things we do to build a strong reputation is to always do what we say we are going to do. We’re human and aren’t perfect, but any time a mistake is made or something goes wrong, we are always there to make sure that it gets corrected promptly.
We also make it a point to always ask for a review after every roofing job we complete. Not only do we send each client a review link once the project is done, but our account managers will proactively ask our clients for reviews as well.
What makes you different? In other words, if you had one minute to sell somebody on why they should choose you, what would you say?
We strive to build a team of specialists who are like-minded, professional and always honest. Even when past clients have chosen to work with other roofing companies who may offer cheaper rates, we always hear that our team is the best and most professional.
In addition to providing high-quality service and top-notch customer care, our ability to interact and negotiate with insurance companies is what really makes us stand out.
Why do you do what you do? In other words, what is your mission and/or how do you attempt to make the world a better place?
As someone who comes from a family of roofers, roofing is in my blood, and as a company, we love to interact with many different types of customers. Our number one goal, no matter how big or small your roofing project may be, is to hold your hand throughout every step of the process, ensuring that you are able to make the best, most informed decision.
Outside of building a strong online reputation, what else do you do to market and grow your business?
We have just recently rebuilt our website, and we work with a marketing specialist who helps us with SEO and Google Adwords. We also gain referrals through the strong relationships we’ve built with insurance agencies. Additionally, use pay-per-lead sources, such as HomeAdvisor and Thumbtack.
What advice do you have for other businesses trying to build a strong online reputation and grow their business?
Always closely monitor your online reputation, and if there are any negative reviews, address them immediately. Also, get as many reviews as possible from as many clients as possible, and make it a point to call and thank every client.
