So, what’s Beautiful You Skincare’s secret to success for getting great reviews and building such a strong reputation online? We sat down with Owner, Desarae Marhofer, to find out. Here’s what she had to say.
What is your secret to such a strong online reputation?
It is about building trust with your clients and your employees. If you are able to build that trust organically, great reviews will come.
What makes you different? In other words, if you had one minute to sell somebody on why they should choose you, what would you say?
When someone makes an appointment with us, we will do everything to make it a great experience from the moment they walk in the door to the moment they leave. My biggest fear is having a client walk out feeling like they didn’t get what they came in for, and we will do everything in our power to make sure that doesn’t happen.
Why do you do what you do? In other words, what is your mission and/or how do you attempt to make the world a better place?
My “why” is not about the money; it’s about building a community and touching people’s lives. As someone who struggled with skin issues as I was growing up, I truly understand what it feels like, and my heart is in everything we do for our clients 100 percent. Helping my clients feel more confident and helping my employees achieve their goals make it all worth it.
Outside of building a strong online reputation, what else do you do to market and grow your business?
We are very active and involved in our community. We also have an active presence on social media.
What advice do you have for other businesses trying to build a strong online reputation and grow their business?
If you find your “why” and stay true to it, then the rest will happen naturally.
