Christopher Gibson sat down with us to discuss his tremendous online reputation. Here’s what he had to say:
What is your secret to such a strong online reputation?
Client satisfaction is key. That way you can ask for reviews and be confident they’ll be positive. Being very available to work and consult around your clients’ schedule and providing low-pressure focus make a huge difference. I also have a system in place that automatically asks for reviews.
What makes you different? In other words, if you had one minute to sell somebody on why they should choose you, what would you say?
Having the experience and foresight to see potential problems and risks, then making suggestions to avoid them really sets me apart from my clients’ other options. I offer a flat fee real estate model that saves my clients thousands of dollars, and I market for both buyers and listings heavily. My goal is to maximize my clients’ time and outcome.
Why do you do what you do?
Every day I am doing something different, which keeps things fresh and fun.
Outside of building a strong online reputation, what else do you do to market and grow your business?
I do a lot of relative content building, utilizing social media channels and email marketing.
What advice do you have for other businesses trying to build a strong online reputation and grow their business?
Construct your business one brick at a time. Focus on one element and master that, then move on to the next thing. There is no real easy button. It takes time.
