We were excited to learn all about Connecticut Martial Arts and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the owner and Master Instructor, Steve Doyon.

The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes Connecticut Martial Arts stand apart from its competitors. Connecticut Martial Arts has been around for 27 years and is the only school in the area that provides authentic black belt through an accreditation program. Steve and his wife have trained their whole lives and all over the world to get where they are now. They have an incredible work ethic. Steve said that they live for their school, and always try to uphold and perpetuate the philosophies and traditions of martial arts. He said:

We were excited to learn all about Master Na’s Traditional Martial Arts Taekwondo and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the Operations Manager, Sanam.

We were excited to learn all about Blann’s Martial Arts and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the Jimmy Blann. Jimmy and his wife, Vicki Blann, are the owners of the business. They have been in business for 39 years. When he was a kid, Jimmy originally thought he had wanted to be a football coach. When that didn’t work out, he decided to start his martial arts business. He was a martial arts student for about four years before opening his own business. It was always in his nature to teach and coach others, and it is that passion that fuels his business now.
