An Interior Design Firm That Gives Back

We were excited to learn all about Delia Designs and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the Founder and Principal Designer, Tina Delia.

I hire a new (paid) intern every year and try to mentor them as well. I also participate in the Young Artists Workshop, where high school students learn about interior design to decide if it’s something they want to do.”

We were excited to learn all about LaRochelle Interior LLC and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the Principal Designer, Lori.

The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes LaRochelle Interior LLC stand apart from its competitors. Lori told us that she really listens to what people want. Design is not about what she likes or what she would want; it’s about educating her clients to make the best possible choices for what will make them happiest.

She tries to create healthy environments for people, and is conscious about what kinds of materials she uses, making sure to be mindful of indoor air quality. She will be attending the Healthy Homes in Portland event in October to learn even more!
