We wanted to learn all about Babbette’s Studio and its impressive online reputation, so we took a few minutes to talk with the owner, Rebecca Iacovetto.

The first question we had for Rebecca was what is it that sets Babbette’s Studio apart from their competition in Wyoming. Rebecca told us about their huge variety of classes, which includes dance, tumbling, cheer, karate, fitness classes and belly dancing, and said:

“We accept all ages. I have classes from little babies all the way up to adults… We try to reach out to the community. We try to get everybody involved. We have a program, called ‘Chance to Dance,’ that allows anyone who’s in the foster care system or families who receive financial assistance through the Department of Family Services to register to get classes completely free for the whole year. We offer a lot of opportunities… If there are students with special needs, we do our best to fit all of those as well. …We believe that dance, tumbling and cheer is for everyone, and nothing should stop a child from being able to participate in those opportunities…”

We also wanted to know what their mission is at Babbette’s Studio and how they work to make the world a better place. Here’s what Rebecca had to say:

“Our mission statement is, ‘Dance is for everyone.’ We really want everyone to know that they are welcome here, and we try to make it affordable for everyone. …We don’t want anything to stop someone from being able to dance if that’s what they want to do. In the community, we participate in trash clean up. We are probably going to be doing a food drive, called St. Vincent DePaul. They hand out baskets to all of the families. Anybody who needs food can get it from that place.”

Rebecca attributes Babbette’s Studio’s strong online reputation to their commitment to providing the best in-person experience for their students. She added:

“I treat all my students and their family as part of my family. …I give everyone my best all the time. I try to answer all of their questions and just do whatever I can to make their experience the best.”

Mr. and Mrs. K, the owners of K’s Koffee & Deli, took a few minutes out of their day to tell us a little more about this one-of-a-kind restaurant and the impressive online reputation they’ve managed to build.

To start our conversation, we asked Mr. and Mrs. K about what it is that sets K’s Koffee & Deli apart from their competition in Wyoming. Here’s what they had to say:

“…We try to do what no one else is doing. Our coffee is from Italy. No one else has that here in town. Everything is as natural as we can get it. What makes us unique from the rest is basically our customer service. We’re here for the customer more than anything. Even though we are open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, if we’re down here at the deli and a customer comes by, we’ll pretty much open the door for them.”

They went on to say:

“My family homesteaded here in Gillette, Wyoming. The roots go back a long way. We know that people work hard for their money, and we try to accommodate them with what they’re looking for. I’ll give you an example. I had an elderly gentlemen come in. He wanted a grilled peanut and jelly sandwich. It’s not on the menu. …I said, ‘Well, do you like strawberry jam, because I can make it for you.’ …If I have the ingredients, I’ll make it. We’re here for our customers… Our people that come to the deli become deli family, no matter where they are from.”

They added:

“One other thing that has made us unique is that we own the copyright to my family’s spaghetti sauce recipe. We also own a spice company that we have incorporated into the deli. With the use of your specialty spice blends, you can make any ordinary sandwich taste different in many ways.”

We also wanted to know why they do what they do at K’s Koffee & Deli and how they give back and make the world a better place. Here’s Mr. and Mrs. K’s response:

“We like to give back to our community. We get involved in as many charitable things as we can, especially Relay for Life. That’s a big thing because we’ve both had cancer on both sides of our family so we do a lot with that. We also close the deli one day in December and have the schools come in, a busload at a time. They get to see Santa, have hot chocolate and a cookie, and they all leave with a gift. We do it out of the kindness of our hearts. We don’t do it for the glory of it and the recognition as much as we do it for the people that are in need.”

When we asked Mr. and Mrs. K about K’s Koffee & Deli’s secret to such a strong online reputation, they pointed to the quality and quantity of their food, their consistency and their customer service:

“We are here for the customers.”

We were excited to learn all about Skyline Self Storage and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the manager, Linda Reitsma.

Linda said that people are often surprised by how professionally run the business is. They also focus on their security. Linda told us that she is a resident manager, meaning she and her family live on site. There are also two dogs on-site that they frequently take on walks around the units, which means that they often have eyes on the space. Linda said:

“We have high-tech cameras and a security gate that we actually close every evening (only our customers and law enforcement/fire department have access). I think we are the only store that has a gate, cameras AND a resident manager which could account for the fact that we have no security issues. Besides professionalism, the security factor is probably our biggest selling point.”

When we asked Linda about the Skyline Self Storage business mission or how they work to make the world a better place, she said:

“We’re here to help. That’s our mission. So, moving, being one of the most stressful things that people can be going through, means we need to be helpful. Moving in and of itself is stressful and oftentimes moving is coupled with some sort of stressful event. We need to be here to alleviate as much stress as we can.”

We were excited to learn all about Abhyasa Massage Therapy and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the owner, Ollie Tripp.
